Jacuzzi room downtown Toronto
The Grand Hotel is what I like to think of Toronto’s best kept secret when it comes to well-appointed, and well staffed hotels. A sentiment that was echoed by my contributor, Yashi, who lives in the area. While in Toronto at the beginning of the month I had the opportunity to spend a night in the hotel and it was an experience I hope to revisit in the near future. Located in the heart of the city just minutes away from all that the downtown core has to offer, The Grand is perfectly located for those in Toronto on business or for pleasure.
The Grand offers a number of suites to suit any need, from couples looking to escape for a romantic interlude, larger rooms for families or long terms visits, or simpler rooms for those needing a comfortable place to work while away from the office and home. Each room includes a kitchenette with a microwave, dishes and coffee makers, as well as a refrigerator. Other features include in room safes, access to the pool, fitness center and a gorgeous rooftop patio garden with 2 hot tubs, a gazebo and plush lounging areas. For individual room features and photos please visit their website.
My room was the Jacuzzi suite and included a King Sized Bed and a made for 2 Jacuzzi tub that made me feel like a queen. Even though I only had a short time in the tub, gazing out the window at the Toronto skyline while relaxing was so enjoyable. If the rooms don’t sell you, or the location then the free shuttle to downtown and included buffet breakfast should. It’s not just sweet sticky buns, orange juice and some fruits either, but a full buffet with eggs, bacon, cereal, fruits, yogurt and more. Coffee, tea and juices are also available.
Disclosure – I was provided a nights stay in a Jacuzzi room to facilitate this post. All opinions expressed are my own.
